anti-dripping additive Haiflon® PTFE Fine Powder SF-628AD is a high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin. In flame-retardant formulations it is recommended as an anti-dripping additive; it can also act as a melt-strength additive that facilitates demanding processing techniques such as extrusion blow molding. When SF-628AD is dispersed in engineering plastics such as polycarbonate, polypropylene, polyamide, ABS, polystyrene and PBT, a microscopic node-and-fibril network forms within the polymer matrix, which strongly suppresses melt dripping and improves melt behavior.
