Homopolymer, electrostatic coating powder Haiflon® PVDF FP-819 is a fine vinylidene fluoride (VDF) homopolymer powder with a very high melt flow rate of ≥ 30 g/10 min (230 °C, 5 kg), designed for electrostatic spraying. Applied to pre-heated metal surfaces and subsequently melted, it forms thick, smooth, pinhole-free PVDF coatings with excellent chemical resistance, non-stick properties and weatherability, used as protective and decorative topcoats in harsh industrial environments.
